Brice & Stephanie’s Sundial Resort Beach Wedding

Brice and Stephanie tied the knot in early March and their magical day was filled with fun, family and memories that will last a lifetime. We asked them to share a little about their Sundial Resort beach wedding experience with us.

How did you meet?

After several years of somehow being Facebook friends, we finally saw each other in person at Brice’s work one day. The rest was history!

How did he propose?

Brice proposed over drinks at a small restaurant/bar. He had the bartender put wine in two glasses that said Mr. and Mrs. like we had just gotten married. As I was sitting there, looking all confused, he got down on one knee. He had friends waiting at another bar to help us immediately celebrate our engagement.

Describe your wedding style:

Laid back, beachy, relaxed

What was your inspiration behind your dress and your bridal party’s attire?

We were shooting for simplicity and something in a bright blue color.

What were some of your favorite details about your wedding?

The environment was spectacular- our family and friends, the food, the drinks, the pictures. The memories of that day will last forever.

What were some memorable moments from your wedding day?

I think we’ll each remember getting ready with our individual wedding parties. The conversations, the excitement of wondering what the other was thinking before we saw each other for the first time-  it was very special.

Why did you choose Sundial as your wedding venue?

We knew we wanted a beach wedding. We had been researching Sanibel and after conversations and emails with Sundial catering sales manager, Lavender, we went with it. It could not have been any better.

Would you recommend Sundial Resort to other couples? Why?

Yes! I absolutely would recommend it. The resort, the staff, and the whole week was perfect.

What advice would you give to future brides and grooms to-be?

Enjoy the little things. The time goes way too quickly. Enjoy each other and family and friends all the time.
