Labor Day Weekend at Sundial
The kids have only been in school for three weeks and they are talking about Labor Day weekend like a reprieve from a tour of duty. I swear, I do not know where these children get their flair for the dramatic! It only got worse when they found out about what’s happening at Sundial.
The discovery happened about a week ago over coffee and Fruit Loops (theirs and mine respectively). After Josh left for work, the three of us were sitting at the breakfast table and I was reading the Island Reporter on my tablet trying to ignore my son’s repetitive request to “hurry up and finish reading the boring news so I can play games” when my daughter spotted the word Sundial in the headline of an article. From that moment on, I knew my morning, and tablet, was no longer my own.
The article outlined all of the activities planned for Labor Day Weekend and it got all of us so excited! The fun kicks off tomorrow and goes straight through till Monday. Below is a summary of everything going on and here is a link to the article that began it all for us: Sundial hosting Labor Day celebration
