Sundial Gives Back

DATE: November 11, 2021

In honor of this season of giving, we took a look at the different ways that Sundial gives back throughout the year. From sponsoring local charitable events, hosting fundraising efforts, running to raise awareness and gifting front-line medical workers with a delicious meal, Sundial and our amazing staff have enjoyed providing for our community. Find some of the highlights from this past year’s events below.

39th CROW Taste of the Islands

Last November, Sundial participated in the 39th CROW Taste of the Islands and donated a portion of the proceeds generated from the event to support CROW’s dedication to saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education and conservation medicine.

Providing for Hospital Workers

In September, Sundial’s Food & Beverage team put together boxed meals to be delivered to Lee Health Foundation’s ICU Department as a part of their Help our Heroes initiative. It was our pleasure to give back to these front-line medical workers who have been working so incredibly hard over the past year and a half to help our residents and visitors heal and recover.

10K Race 4 F.I.S.H

Last month, Sundial was a proud sponsor of the 13th Annual 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. While this event was virtual, our staff has had the opportunity to race with the group in the past and always enjoyed participating in this annual event. The 10K helps to raise funds and awareness for FISH of SANCAP and their mission to assist, educate and enrich the lives in our community.

Pink Out Sanibel Captiva Events

In October, we got our Pink on for Let’s Pink Out in support of Pink Out Sanibel Captiva, benefitting individuals in our local community in need of mammograms and cancer-related treatments. We had high tea with high pinkies, dinked for pink during a 2-day pickleball tournament and finished out with a fundraising gala.
