2021 Sundial Holiday Happenings
Our calendar is filling up with plans for our 2021 Sundial Holiday Happenings! We’re looking forward to trimming the tree, Santa sightings, delicious holiday feasts and rockin’ our way into a new year with our visitors and guests. Make sure to get your reservations in early for these highly anticipated holiday events!
Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, November 26, 2021, 5:00 – 9:00 pm, free event open to resort guests
We’re kicking off the Christmas season with a Christmas Tree Lighting celebration at Sundial! Resort guests can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies while getting into the spirit with holiday music. Once you’ve had your nibble, visit the Letter writing station to pen your Christmas wish list to Santa. Next, create your own holiday ornament to add to our tree. Keep the holiday cheer going with a visit with our winter celebrities, The Grinch, Elsa and Tropical Santa!
At 6:30, we light up the tree and celebrate the start of the season. Following the tree lighting, guests can light themselves up for our Glow Dance Party and line dancing with Santa and Elsa.
Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 18, 2021, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Tickets required in advance, open to public, $25 per person, $20 for children 12 and under
Enjoy a fresh breakfast buffet prepared by Santa’s helpers offering fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, breakfast potatoes, waffles and topping stations, pastries and a drink station manned by North Pole Elves.
After you’ve had your fill, take part in line dancing with Santa and his elves, a special appearance from Elsa. Photo ops will be available with our special guests and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in writing letters to Santa and dropping them in our special North Pole mailbox, sugar cookie decorating and holiday crafts. Plus, each guest will take home a Sundial holiday frame to show off their new photos with Santa and Elsa.

Beachy Christmas Brunch Buffet
Saturday, December 25, 2021, 12:00 – 5:30 pm, Reservations required, open to the public, $65 per person, $25 for children 4-12, children under 4 eat free
Make your Christmas celebration even merrier with a bountiful Sundial buffet overlooking the Gulf. Our Christmas Day brunch buffet will feature holiday entrees including a Seafood Cold Bar, Whole Roasted Leg of Lamb, Orange Marmalade Glazed Country Ham, Slow-Roasted Herb-Crusted Prime Rib, Scottish Salmon en Croute and Lobster Thermador. In addition, we’ll have delicious starters and salads, hot side dishes, children’s menu options and a Chef’s Dessert Board.

Rock ‘N’ Roll New Year’s Eve Celebration
Friday, December 31, 2021, 6:30 pm – 12:00 am, Reservations required, $90 per person, $35 for children 4-12, children under 4 eat free
Rock your way into 2022 with a Rock ‘N’ Roll-themed celebration at Sundial! Dinner will be served from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, featuring stations offering Salmon, Barbecue, Street Tacos, Sliders, Kid Favorites, Desserts, Salads and sides.
The party kicks off at 6:30 with our Live DJ keeping the energy high. Kids’ games begin with fishing, ax toss, skill ball, crafts and more. At 7:30, kids’ karaoke kicks off in Turtles Scouts while the adults dance to the live band, Dale Schwegal and The Old 41 Band, and compete in Guitar Hero. The DJ will keep spinning during band breaks and get the crowd involved with live rock ‘n’ roll trivia.
Beginning at 8:30, make sure you’re stretched and prepped to hit the dance floor for our Dance Contest! At 9:00, kids can take part in the early bird countdown and bubble wrap celebration. Once the littles are off to bed, it’s time to shake your hips in the Hula Hoop Contest and then shred your invisible ax during our Air Guitar Contest.
At midnight, we’ll countdown to the New Year and ring it in with a champagne toast.
Additionally, parties can purchase a cabana for the evening and enjoy reserved seating for up to 10, tableside drink service and private champagne toast. Please note, cabana availability is limited and should be reserved well in advance. Cabanas are $975 and include full admission for up to 10 guests.
