Christian Clark – Tennis Pro

Christian grew up in Sarasota, FL and moved to Fort Myers in 2015. He is the newest member of the Sundial Tennis Department and just began his post as resident Tennis Pro on January 1, 2017. Christian attended Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, FL at the same time as Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. He has been a tennis teaching professional for over 20 years and has been a USPTA Elite Professional for 17 years. His professional background has included assisting in the running of national junior tournaments and several charity events, training numerous juniors for international competitions and, the highlight of his career thus far, training Maria Sharapova for two years, when she was around 8 years old. From the pro himself,

“I love to teach! I enjoy developing players from the beginner level up through advanced level players.”

Ernesto Enriquez-Socas – Head of Court Maintenance

Ernesto was born and raised Cuba and moved to Cape Coral in 2012. In college, he majored in Sports Sciences with the hopes of putting that education toward one day becoming a coach. Following graduation, he spent four years coaching badminton in Cuba. Ernesto has been a part of the Sundial team for one year now. As a USTA member and pursuing his U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certification in tennis and International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (ITPTA) certification in pickleball, Ernesto is truly an asset to the team!

Sean Warren – Tennis Program Coordinator

Sean grew up just across the water in Cape Coral, FL and has always avidly participated in a variety of sports. He grew up playing tennis and is even a member of a club volleyball team currently. He has been a part of Sundial’s Tennis Department for over a year and was just promoted from Tennis Court Maintenance to Department Coordinator. This past Fall, Sean was instrumental in the formation of the very successful Southwest Florida Clay Court Championship Tournament hosted by Sundial.

Emily Shuster – Tennis Receptionist

Emily was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Sanibel in 2008. She graduated from the University of Central Florida and majored in Psychology. Before Emily fell in love with tennis, she played volleyball in middle and high school and still plays for fun. She is an avid animal lover and hopes to one day open a non-profit animal shelter. Make sure to say hi to Emily next time you’re reserving a court!
