Sunday, August 15, is National Relaxation Day 2021 and we know EVERYONE could benefit from some relaxation this year. We’ve scoured the property for some of our favorite places and ways to relax around the resort so that we can share them with all of you.
Kay Casperson Lifestyle Spa
The Kay Casperson Lifestyle Spa & Boutique at Sundial Resort is the ultimate pick for finding your bliss and melting into a state of total relaxation. The team at the spa had these tips to help guests relax:
“Staying relaxed is essential in having your best and most beautifuLIFE. We recommend getting regular Relaxation Massages, Nourishing Facials and Rejuvenating Pedicures, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.” View the full spa menu.
Find Serenity on the Sand
Long walks on the beach might sound like a cliché but there is no denying the therapeutic benefits of spending a little quiet time walking the shoreline. It’s a great opportunity to clear your thoughts and, also, pick up a few shells along the way.
Another great way to enjoy the sand is to build with it! Get the whole family involved to create the sandcastle of your dreams and then delight in watching your kids play Godzilla at the end of the day.
Explore the Gulf
Once you’ve had your fill of time on the sand, take it to the Gulf! Borrow one of our complimentary kayaks or paddleboards from Recreation and embark on a paddling tour of the shore. Float from one end of the property to the other and take in the full view of Sundial from a new perspective.

Every vacation should include a lazy day in the shade of a cabana. We have cabanas available for daily rental on the pool deck and on the sands surrounding our volleyball court. Set up your home-base for the day and always have the perfect spot to return to for a break from the sun and a little afternoon siesta.
