Snooze in the Shade

Reserve a cabana for the day to enjoy an afternoon siesta, shielded from the sun’s hottest rays. Pick one by the pool or one of the cabanas tucked behind the beach volleyball court for a little more privacy. Bonus: The shade will keep you safe from waking up with an odd new tan line.

Shell the Stress Away

If you like long walks on the beach and bringing home unique souvenirs from your travels, a shell walk is just right for you. Clear your mind and focus on the task at hand to discover the best finds on the beach. Early morning and sunset walks are a great time to find both shells and a little peace along the way.

Propel by Pedal

Pick out a complimentary resort bike and get up close and personal to the natural beauty of Sanibel by pedaling along the 25 miles of bike trails that traverse the island. Ride through J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge ($1 donation for cyclists) on the four-mile loop through the park or make east to Lighthouse Beach, where you can park your bike for a pitstop to visit the historic lighthouse or see the fishing pier.
