You might already know about the Sanibel Sea School Sundial campus and its exploration classes for children 6-13 years old. Now, due to an overwhelming number of requests, Sanibel Sea School is offering a brand-new program for children 4-6 years old!

Starting September 12, “Sea Squirts” classes will give younger kids the opportunity to explore and learn more about our ecosystem. These weekly classes are specially geared for the unique educational needs of our younger guests and include more land-based exploration activities for those a bit timid about getting in the water.

Just like the classes for the big kids, participants will go crabbing, rock flipping, and traipsing through mangrove muck to learn about Sanibel’s unique marine environment. They’ll also learn about everyone’s favorite sea creatures – dolphins, crabs and sea turtles – during each class field trip.

Classes will run each Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 am and require a $36 registration fee. For more information, or to register for classes, please visit the Sundial Campus page.
