Shima Wins 9 2020 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Awards

When we first opened Shima a few years ago, we had hoped that our visitors and guests would love it as much as we did. Let’s just say, your love of Shima far exceeded even our hopeful expectations! Just this week, we found out that Shima won 2020 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Awards in 9 different categories. NINE categories! Had the best time. The food was amazing and chef was even better. He entertained our group of 6 and really focused on my two teens. Everyone had a great time and laughed the whole time.

Shima is the best sushi and hibachi we’ve had on the west coast of Florida. The quality of the food was excellent. Everything was very fresh, wasn’t salty and tasted delicious. Our chef was very entertaining and conversational. Absolutely five stars. Can’t wait to go back.

We had buy one get one free so it was a great deal. Food was really good and the experience so much fun. It was a communal table and enjoyed talking to the two families with us. I highly recommend.

We really enjoy the hibachi experience along with the wonderful food. This was our first visit to Shima, and it won’t be our last. The waitress was very attentive without being intrusive. The chef was excellent and had a wonderful sense of humor. The food was cooked to perfection and very filling.

We had Sam as our personal chef and he was awesome! Very entertaining and put a new spin on the Japanese preparation experience. The only thing bad is I live too far away to go to regularly.
