Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge

During your stay, visit the local Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. The free Visitor and Educational Center is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. If you want to see the wildlife in their natural habitat, consider exploring their 4-mile trail or take the 90-minute guided Wildlife Refuge Tram Tour, and have experts teach you about the animals and point out hard-to-see wildlife. Resort Events and Activities

Explore the resort and participate in some of our daily activities at the Rec Shack, like Bingo, tie-dye, GLOW Parties and more. Every Saturday, 2:00 – 5:00 pm, you can enjoy live music with a delicious drink on the patio at Turtles Tiki Bar.

Family Fun in the Sundial Weekends happen every weekend, now through the end of October! Each week features a fun theme with activities, games, crafts and more for the whole family to dive into.

Pickleball and Tennis

Enjoy a game of pickleball or tennis with family and friends at our on-site, state-of-the-art courts. The beautiful waterfront facility has been voted the “Best Pickleball in Southwest Florida” and “Best Tennis on Sanibel & Captiva Islands”. Resort guests will receive complimentary court access and equipment rentals with their stay.

Shelling and The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum

Seashell hunting is one of Sanibel Island’s most popular activities. Stroll the beach and comb through a selection of over 250 beautiful shell species. After collecting your shells. wash and identify them at the shell station and head over to The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum to learn more about your new collection and shelling on Sanibel Island.
