Taste of the Islands 2020
Taste of the Islands 2020 will be the event’s 39th year! This annual celebration of food and community helps to raise money in support of the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).
Reimagined this year to implement safe social distancing, participants can purchase a “Taste Passport” with a listing and map of participating restaurants. Your passport allows you to vote for the best dish in each of several categories and be entered into the prize drawing for vacation stays and gift cards.
Passports will be available for purchase at CROW, all Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank locations, Bailey’s General Store, Huxter’s Market & Deli and all participating restaurants.
Try as many delicious dishes as you can throughout the month of November at participating restaurants. Our own Sea Breeze Café is entered in the Best Appetizer and Best Seafood categories, so make sure to dine with us while supporting this great cause. Sea Breeze Café will be serving our two Taste of the Islands entries for dinner (5:00 – 10:00 pm) from November 1 – 30. A portion of the sales from these 2 dishes will go to support CROW.

- Sautéed Chili Lime Shrimp over avocado puree served on a golden fried plantain

Best Seafood – Fried Whole Snapper $15
Feast on a fried whole snapper, served over braised yucca, topped with a spicy tomatillo salsa.
