Our new Turtle Scouts program is underway, providing fun and educational opportunities to our young guests. Turtle Scouts offers engaging activities, crafts and games sprinkled with a dash of learning. At Turtle Scouts, every day is different – from programs that immerse kids in nature or local pirate lore, to sports-themed sessions, fishing and even campfire nights. Our unique and captivating programs encourage kids to celebrate, explore, create and discover.

Turtle Scouts Information:

Children ages 6 – 13

Day Camps – Tuesday – Saturday

Morning Camps: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Afternoon Camps: 1:00 – 4:00 pm

$55 per child, includes a special Turtle Scouts T-Shirt, class badge and shelling/beach bag.

Join in on the fun Tuesday – Friday during the morning or afternoon session.

Evening Camps – Wednesday

Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

$55 per child, includes dinner, Turtle Scouts T-Shirt, class badge and shelling/beach bag.

Class Descriptions:

CAMPFIRE NIGHT: It’s a night of campfire stories and s’mores around the campfire, plus pizza, games and crafts, and tips on fire safety.

PIRATES: Ahoy, Mateys!  Learn about the real pirates of Sanibel, and enjoy activities including beach ball catapult, coconut bowling and more.

SPORTS: Pickleball, tennis, croquet, limbo, oh my! This active camp includes a variety of sports and fun games.

SHELLS: Sanibel is known for its beautiful seashells. Learn more about both rare and common finds, create a special shell craft and line-up for some beach games.

KITES: Learn about the history of kites, best flying conditions and parts of a kite, and then put your knowledge to work as you create your own kite and enjoy some fun outdoor games.

BIRDS: Learn about the colorful birds of Sanibel Island, build your own bird feeder and get active with games including croquet, limbo and more.

WILDLIFE: Our island is home to some amazing creatures! Learn all about some of our favorites, plus enjoy games and a special craft.

MUSIC: We’ve combined two of our favorite things- shells and music! Make a shell instrument, beat on your own ocean drum, plus enjoy some coconut bowling.

SANIBEL SEA SCHOOL: Join the marine educators from Sanibel Sea School for hands-on learning and an ocean adventure.
