Bailey’s History

The business, officially known as Sanibel Packing Company, was founded in 1899 by Frank P. Bailey, providing groceries and general supplies to residents and visitors. Over the century, it has continuously served the needs of those on Sanibel Island and Captiva Islands, doing business as Bailey’s General Store. Today it is still run by the same family who founded it over 120 years ago!
