The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife is an educational hospital that cares for wildlife. Stop by the visitors center to learn more about how these animals become injured, are cared for, and healed in order to make the environment a better place for all wildlife.

Sanibel Sea School

Sanibel Sea School offers over 30 different courses to learn about the environment and ecosystem.

For example:

Plankton – Adrift at Sea is perfect for anyone who enjoys small creatures that live in the water. This class teaches students how to use a plankton tow and collect water samples that are placed under a microscope to explore the differences in zooplankton.

Fish – What’s better than a fish? allows students to use different types of nets in order to catch various types of fish! Students are able to hold the fish and feel their scales. In this course, you will learn all about fin movements and their habitats based on their anatomy!

Sanibel Sea School offers classes and camps right at Sundial.

Sanibel Historical Museum & Village

Sanibel Historical Museum & Village reopens in October for field trips and activities. Learn the history of Sanibel Island, from the Calusa and Spanish eras to the early island settlers. Explore historic buildings, restored to their original state, and imagine what life was like in the early days of the island.
